Joining Minescape
Connect to play.gameslabs.net (or us.gameslabs.net for Americas) in Minecraft Java 1.20+. Accept the resource pack — it is required for textures and UI.
No client mod needed. Navigation is in the hotbar once you reach the GamesLabs lobby. Select Minescape from the game mode menu.
Skills Overview
Minescape has 24 skills across gathering, crafting, combat, and exploration. Skills level through use — mine to level Mining, fight to level Attack.
Start with combat and gathering skills. Quests reward XP lamps that boost under-leveled skills. Open the skills menu to track progress.
Combat Basics
Combat follows RuneScape-style stats — Attack, Strength, Defence, Ranged, Magic, and Prayer. Gear tier gates effective training areas.
Bring food for harder mobs. Special attacks on weapons consume energy. Learn weak mobs in starter zones before pushing deeper.
Quests and Story
Quests unlock areas, items, and skill requirements. Start with novice quests in the hub area.
Read quest requirements before starting — some need minimum skill levels or items. Quest rewards often include gear that skips grind tiers.
Gathering and Crafting
Woodcutting, Mining, and Fishing fund early progression. Crafting skills turn raw materials into gear and consumables.
Bank items frequently at banks in towns. Use the Grand Exchange equivalent for buying and selling bulk materials.
Bosses and Group Content
Boss creatures require coordinated gear and often groups. Check minimum combat levels and recommended setups on the wiki.
Bring potions, food, and appropriate protection prayers or abilities. Loot systems vary — know drop rules before farming.
Money Making
Sell gathered resources, complete quests, and flip items on the player market. High-level skills unlock profitable training methods.
AFK methods exist for some skills — verify they comply with server rules. Diversify income across skills for steady growth.
